  1. 1.Tune the NAV radio to 117.40 MHz for LIV.
  2. 2.Hold on the 345° radial — set OBS to inbound course 165°.The hold is defined by the inbound leg to the fix. Setting OBS to 165° (345° + 180°) gives you a centered TO indication while flying inbound.
  3. 3.Fly inbound to LIV on heading 165° — cross the station (fix).165° is the reciprocal of the 345° radial — flying that heading tracks you inbound toward the station along the holding radial.
  4. 4.Overhead the fix, turn RIGHT to outbound heading 345° for one minute.Standard holds are right turns. The outbound heading equals the holding radial (345°) so you fly parallel to the inbound leg but in the opposite direction.
  5. 5.Turn right again onto 165° inbound and re-cross the fix.A second right 180° puts you back on the inbound course 165° to complete the racetrack and re-cross the fix.
