2.Press IDENT and listen for L·I·V in Morse code (·–·· ·· ···–).
3.Test the CDI: rotate OBS 10° left and 10° right and watch the needle move.
4.ATC assigned the 246° radial. Set OBS to 066° (inbound course).
5.Turn to an intercept heading about 30–45° off 066° using the heading bug.
6.As the CDI needle comes alive, turn to keep it centered inbound (TO).
7.Hold the needle within 2 dots for 10 seconds to complete the intercept.
